The 7th Atlanta Printmakers Studio Print Biennial 2025
The Atlanta Print Biennial is an international juried exhibition, open to all artists working in hand-pulled printmaking processes. Organized by Atlanta Printmakers Studio, the exhibition is hosted by Kai Lin Art (999 Brady Ave. NW, Suite 7) in the Westside District June 13 through July 11, with an opening reception from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. June 13.
Soul Reflections: A Juneteenth Celebration Through Art & Lens
Buckhead Art & Company presents work by acclaimed photographer/videographer Parrish Lewis and artist/philanthropist Jeff Beckham @jeffbeckham. The exhibit draws from Lewis’ “I Know I’ve Got Soul” and “Portrait Experience” series and Beckham’s “Kingdom, Crowns and Visions and Dreams” collections. Each piece explores how lived experiences shape the Black spirit. The show opens from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on June 13 at 288 Buckhead Ave.
Presented in conjunction with RenderATL, a tech conference and expo, RenderFest is a live music experience that celebrates the Caribbean diaspora’s sights, sounds and spirit. Performers include Wayne Wonder, Kevin Lyttle, Elephant Man and Alison Hinds. It all happens beginning at 7 p.m. on June 13 behind the AC Hotel Atlanta Downtown at 236 Williams St. N.W.
Indie rock singer and songwriter Beabadoobee, aka Philippines-born British musician Beatrice Kristi Ilejay Laus, has built her fanbase with opening slots for Taylor Swift, The 1975 and Clairo, among others. She brings her The Space Between Tour to the Coca-Cola Roxy at 7:30 p.m. June 13.
Marietta’s Theatre in the Square presents Emil Thomas’ two-person stage play that follows ex-lovers Solomon and Zenobi, who find themselves in their once-shared condo as a mass shooting is taking place in the building. The show opened June 3 and continues through June 23.
The Castleberry Hill 2nd Friday Art Stroll
This monthly celebration of art includes the opening of Edge Of Reality by Shawn “Stu” Stewart at Old Rabbit Gallery and Crossroads, an installation exhibition curated by Atlanta-based artist and curator CRLZ. Also participating in the monthly event are 85 Gallery/Atlantucky, Peters Street Station, Hidden Gallery and Bookstore Gallery. The Art Stroll happens from 7 p.m.to 10 p.m. June 13 in the Castleberry Hill Arts District.
Saturday
Juneteenth Atlanta Parade & Music Festival
Celebrate the country’s newest federal holiday a little early on June 14 and June 15 (though the actual date of the holiday is June 19). It commemorates the emancipation of enslaved people in Texas in 1865. There will be live music on two stages, craft vendors, food, a car show, a 5K run and more. The parade starts near The King Center on Auburn Avenue and ends at Piedmont Park.

Journey of the Spirit: The Multi-dimensional Artistry of Sean Haynes
This exhibition has been on view in the ArtsXchange’s Jack Sinclair Gallery in East Point (2148 Newnan St.) since June 7, with an opening reception from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. on June 14. There will be an artist talk from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. on July 19.
This group exhibition at Cat Eye Creative is back for its fifth year in downtown Atlanta! and includes work by favorite local artists, along with new Cat Eye artists from around the country. The show, which includes work by Hannah Ehrlich, Julio Ceballos, Larkin Ford and Sean Sweeney, opens with a reception from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. June 14 and continues through July 6.
More things to do this weekend
Georgia Ensemble Theatre presents A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Shakespeare’s beloved tale of fairies, a pair of young couples and a troupe of actors. This 90-minute version will be staged June 12 through June 29 … In Meat & Three, metal and wood artist Ryan Durrett and woodworker Collin Dubick will show their sculptural work inspired by the aesthetic and functionality of the beloved meat-and-three restaurants across the Southeast. The show opens with a reception from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on June 14 and runs through June 20 at South River Art Studios (1300 Fleetwood Drive SE, Atlanta) … The Woodstock Summer Concert Series has an impressive lineup of free concerts this year, and next up are the Gin Blossoms and the Josh Joplin Band. The show happens at 7:30 p.m. on June 14 at the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater (101 Arnold Mill Road). Future shows in the series feature 10,000 Maniacs, Josh Turner and the Pink Floyd tribute act Interstellar Echoes.
