Chris Olsen is seeing a new man — but he’s keeping his relationship more private this time around.

On Oct. 18, the 27-year-old TikTok star posted a video to the platform, sharing a collection of clips with his new boyfriend.

“I would say this album in fact come out at the right time,” wrote Olsen in text overlaying the clips, referencing Taylor Swift’s latest record The Life of a Showgirl, much of which documents the pop superstar’s jubilant romance with fiancée Travis Kelce.

In the series of videos, the face of Olsen’s new partner was blurred out to obscure his identity, which the creator acknowledged in the caption of the post.

“I’m not tryna be a couple acc again and for once I’m being more private & that’s nice,” he wrote. “I knowww the censor is annoyingggg but I still want to make these kinds of vids bc I am vvvv happyyyyy.”

Olsen first started to gain viral attention online in 2020 as he and his then-boyfriend Ian Paget quarantined together, sharing their relationship on their social media platforms. The pair announced their split in January 2022, after which Olsen vowed to document less of his future romances online.

“If I were to get into another relationship, I would never, never share it in the way that we did,” Olsen told Paget when the pair reunited over a year after their breakup. “Relationships are complicated in general; having other opinions only really makes it harder.”

In the years since, Olsen has garnered more attention online — for his viral series delivering coffee to celebrities, opening up about being targeted by intimate image abuse (sometimes referred to as “revenge porn”), and having a “public breakdown” on his social media accounts last year that made him rethink how he would portray himself on the internet.

“I could have kept going the way that I was probably forever and maybe continue growing my account and making money,” reflected Olsen in an interview with PEOPLE in December. “But the day after I had a breakdown, I was like, ‘Why didn’t I do that sooner?’ That had been living within me and been building up for months and months and months, and it felt so good to let it out, and it felt so good to just be real.”

Added the internet star at the time: “I decided whatever I was doing wasn’t working anymore for me personally. So I decided to change everything I was doing.”
