What the Galaxy S26 models have to offer

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series isn’t a huge departure from its predecessor as far as design goes. There are some notable changes across the devices, such as the more uniform design language as well as the revamped camera design with the main trio of sensors sitting on a vertical housing.
Aside from the design, there are some notable norable spec changes for each phone. The S26 series is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, which ssees some impressive gains over Qualcomm’s last flagship chip. As per usual, the base S26 and Plus will be powered by the Exynos 2600 in select markets.

The base Galaxy S26 remains the smallest model, but the display size has increased from 6.2 to 6.3 inches compared to the Galaxy S25. It also features a larger 4,300mAh battery and 256GB of base storage, double that of its predecessor.

The Galaxy S26 Plus gets the fewest changes this generation, sporting faster 20W wireless charging. Otherwise, it’s largely unchanged from its predecessor aside from from the new Snapdragon processor. However, you still get a large battery, fast 45W charging, and a massive display, for those who need the extra real-estate.
Then there’s the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which features the first Privacy Display on a smartphone. It’s a new feature that uses the unique pixel array on the display to hide content from onlookers. It can be customized to, so it may only work on certain apps or only on notifications, negating the need for a separate privacy screen protector.
The Galaxy S26 also has improved primary and telephoto cameras, featuring wider apertures for better night time and low-light capture.

Of course, these new smartphones also come with improvements to Galaxy AI, with an upgraded Circle to Search, an improved conversational Bixby, new AI photo-editing features, and an agentic Gemini that can perform tasks on your behalf.
All of this looks and sounds great, although keep in mind the price of the S26 and S26 Plus has gone up in the U.S. but $100, meaning you’re paying a higher premium for these upgrades.
