Chicago’s storied Lollapalooza is returning to Grant Park with a big lineup of global superstars and dance music favorites in 2026, including John Summit, who is primed for a massive hometown headline.
“from going every year as a fan growing up this year i’m closing lolla out as a headliner,” Summit wrote on social media. “it all started by playing clubs & warehouses all over the city for years before making my first break.. young summit never would’ve expected this in a million years.”
Scheduled for July 30th to August 2nd, Lollapalooza has long been known for its multi-genre appeal, and this year is no exception. Electronic music fans can look forward to sets from Major Lazer, The Chainsmokers, Disco Lines, Alison Wonderland, KETTAMA, Boris Brejcha, Eli Brown, Duke Dumont and EDM.com Class of 2025 artist Max Styler, among others.
Beyond dance music, the festival’s lineup highlights acts spanning rock, pop, hip-hop and indie. Attendees in 2026 can catch performances from Lil Uzi Vert, Turnstile, Sombr, The Neighbourhood, YUNGBLUD, beabadoobee and Empire of the Sun.
