Downtown Los Angeles will soon gain a new home for electronic dance music.
ORIGIN, a new independent electronic music club, is set to open in the Arts District in late-summer or early-fall 2026, according to a press release shared with EDM.com. Its opening is notable in a downtown market where Exchange LA has long been entrenched as the area’s most recognizable club, with EDM titan Insomniac programming the former Los Angeles Stock Exchange building since 2011.
ORIGIN will combine a state-of-the-art indoor event room with a large outdoor patio, offering a flexible space for raves, cultural programming and promoter-led events. The project builds on a site already familiar to LA ravers: 613 Imperial Street, home to LOT 613, a warehouse and courtyard space with a history of live entertainment, club events and art-driven programming.

The venue is founded by Roni Mehrabian and Cyril Bitar, the minds behind LA nightlife brands SBCLTR and Minimal Effort. Their event history includes LABRYINTO, Brunch Electronik, The Maze, FLOAT and Resolutions, giving ORIGIN direct ties to promoters who have already helped shape the city’s techno and house music scenes.
Sound and production quality are major priorities in the new club. Marc Dizon, whose credits include Brooklyn Mirage, Output, Hakkasan, Sound Nightclub and other major nightlife spaces, is leading ORIGIN’s futuristic design. The venue will feature a custom analog KV2 Audio system tuned specifically for the room, with a separate outdoor system engineered for open-air events.
The first talent lineup for ORIGIN Los Angeles will be revealed in the weeks ahead. We’re told Fridays will focus on live and indie electronic bookings while Saturdays will alternate between daytime outdoor events and late-night house and techno. ORIGIN will also host quarterly Arts District parties using both the indoor and outdoor portions of the venue.
