After a series of successful Kickstarter campaigns, Geek Club and CircuitMess have joined forces once again to launch an exciting new project: an AI-controlled tabletop robot designed specifically for fans of Rick and Morty.
Zagreb, Croatia – November 2024 – Geek Club and CircuitMess are pleased to announce the official launch of their Kickstarter campaign for Butter Bot, a revolutionary robot controlled by artificial intelligence. He is inspired by the famous robot from the popular Adult Swim series Rick and Morty, which was first seen in Season 1, Episode 9. This innovative product is officially licensed by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP), bringing the iconic Butter Bot to life in a way fans have never seen before.
From Screen to Reality: A Partnership That Brings Butter Bot to Life
The shared love of the Rick and Morty series among the CircuitMess and Geek Club teams led to this project. Both companies recognized the opportunity to bring a beloved character to life in a way that was both true to the series and technologically innovative. They chose the Butter Bot because of its iconic status and its potential for interactive, educational and entertaining applications. By transforming a simple butter-handing robot into a multifunctional AI companion, they wanted to create a product that would resonate with both fans and tech enthusiasts, seamlessly blending humor and functionality.
From Mars to Multiverse: The next chapter for CircuitMess and Geek Club
This collaboration was a logical step for both companies after the great success of the previous Kickstarter project – the NASA Perseverance AI-powered Mars Rover. Both companies create educational STEM DIY kits for children and adults to make learning STEM skills easier and more fun. While CircuitMess focuses primarily on toys, Geek Club’s products are always robotics and space-themed.
“Working with WBDGCP on this project was an exciting next step in our partnership with CircuitMess,” says Nico, co-founder of Geek Club, sharing his excitement: “The Butter Bot is a testament to what happens when creativity, technology and Fan passions meet. We look forward to seeing the community’s support and engagement as we launch our Kickstarter campaign.”
Geek Club is an American company that specializes in the design and manufacture of DIY robot kits that train their users in soldering and electronics. Their focus is primarily on space and robotics, with the goal of making learning engineering skills easy and fun for their young and adult audiences.
More than butter: Introducing the AI-controlled Butter Bot
