nubia just recently made the Red Magic 10 Pro and 10 Pro+ official. As per the announcement, both phones run what is denoted as the Snapdragon 8 Elite “Extreme Edition”. We aren’t quite sure what “Extreme Edition” denotes quite yet, but presumably, it entails slightly higher clock speeds.
As we wait for the phone to arrive in our office so we can properly test it for ourselves, we can marvel at this “leaked” early AnTuTu 10 scorecard, which shows the phone basically crushing all of the competition with a blistering score of 3102960 points and a 99% percentile. Slightly lower than the last score the phone allegedly managed, but still very impressive. Mind you, as far as we know, AnTuTu never shows 100%, so this is as good as it gets.
Red Magic 10 Pro+ AnTuTu score
Just as a reminder, the Snapdragon 8 Elite is the latest Qualcomm ship, made on TSMC’s N3E node. It packs a total of eight Oryon cores. Two prime ones and six efficiency ones. The onboard GPU is an Adreno 830.
The Red Magic 10 Pro+ model is also the most tricked-out in the lineup, with either 16GB or 24GB of fast LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB or 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. Both of these aspects will also surely help boost the AnTuTu score. Plus, the phone has a sophisticated cooling solution to keep the new Snapdragon 8 Elite at bay.
