Redmi’s freshly global Note 14 series features a trio of Pros – 4G, 5G (review here), and Pro+ 5G – and a pair of non-Pros – the 4G (first encounter here) and this – the Redmi Note 14 5G.
The Redmi Note 14 5G ships with a 45W charger, a USB-A to USB-C cable, and a case. The phone comes in Black, Purple, and Coral Green, and will be available in 6/128GB, 8/256GB, and 12/512GB. The price is yet to be announced.
We have the Purple model, which is possibly the most interesting Redmi Note 14 device out there. It has a unique pattern on the back that splits the phone’s color into multiple shades. The Black model is the only one that’s simply black, though it has a glittering quality to the finish.
Like the rest of the series, the Redmi Note 14 5G is a similar size, built around a 6.67-inch display. It also gets a 5,110mAh battery – up from the 5,000mAh of its predecessor. While on that topic, the Redmi Note 14 5G bumps the dust protection to an IP64 rating (compared to IP54 on the older model).
At the back Redmi Note 14 5G brings a 108 MP main shooter with OIS, a 1/1.67″ sensor with 0.64 μm pixels. There is also an 8 MP ultrawide camera and a 2 MP macro shooter.
On the software side, the Redmi Note 14 5G runs HyperOS with Android 14 – that’s the older Android. Interestingly, the Poco X7 Pro runs the newer HyperOS version 2 on top of Android 15.
The Redmi Note 14 5G is in our review queue – stay tuned!
