Kim Kardashian turned heads in a sultry backless look for her latest red carpet moment.
The reality star, 44, stepped out to the Fourth Annual Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday, Feb. 1, wearing a black halter-style gown by Balmain that dipped daringly low in the back.
The custom bodycon dress — a sneak peek of the fashion label’s upcoming Fall-Winter 2025 collection — featured a patchwork design in black crocodile skin print embossed leather and chainmail, according to the brand.

At the star-studded event — which celebrates Black-owned businesses and their founders — Kardashian mingled and posed for photos with pals Kelly Rowland and Kristen Noel Crawley. Other celebrities who were in attendance include Keke Palmer, Law Roach, Rachel Zoe, Amber Valletta, Jesse Williams and Teyana Taylor.

Along with her sizzling look, the SKIMS founder also debuted a sleek new bob hairstyle at the gala. On Sunday, Feb. 2, her hairstylist Chris Appleton confirmed that the short cut is not a wig, as he shared a photo on Instagram of a collection of hair clippings arranged in the shape of a heart.
“Love this new chop on kim, we got 7 inches off her hair! (No it’s not a wig before u start lol),” Appleton wrote in the caption. “To style we opt for an iconic Deep side part Tom Ford Gucci 96 inspired.”

Also on Sunday, Olivier Rousteing, Balmain’s creative director, shared photos on his Instagram Stories of Kardashian’s gala dress displayed on a mannequin at the Paris-based fashion house’s atelier. He described the look in a caption over one photo as “crocodile couture.”
Kardashian later shared a few pictures of her own on her Instagram Stories, including a shot that put the focus on her bare back.
The SKKN BY KIM mogul’s glam outing in L.A. comes just weeks after the season 6 trailer of The Kardashians dropped, teasing that Kardashian is dating once again. In the clip, she can be seen standing outside her home, pondering building some extra closet space for her mystery man.
“To here,” Kim says, blocking out the imaginary design plans with her open arms, “I make a whole ‘his’ closet.”
Her mom, Kris Jenner, then remarks, “You must really like him,” prompting Kardashian to reply, “He’ll be happy.”
Later in a confessional, the mom of four shares, “I had the intention of staying single. I was fully lying to you guys. Me not dating, and not wanting love and attention? I don’t think you know me.”
