Apple simply launched the primary replace to its new Invitations app


Apple officially launched Apple Invites on Tuesday, giving iPhone users a new way to create rich digital invitations for real events.

One day later, Apple released Apple Invites version 1.0.1 with some improvements to the original version of the app.

These are the release notes for Apple Invites version 1.0.1:

This update contains stability and performance enhancements.

If you noticed any crashes or performance weirdness yesterday or today, give the app an update and take it for another spin.

You can download the latest version of Apple Invites for iPhone from the App Store. Apple Invites requires an iCloud+ subscription to send invitations. Plans start at $0.99 per month. The service is also available on iCloud.
