Social Medi Account Believed To Belong To Angie Stone’s Daughter Shares Message After Tragic Passing

The account, under the name “Ladi Diamond” received so much love on social media after sharing a message on Facebook. Hours earlier, reports confirmed Angie’s death, and the account’s message reacted with: “my mommy is gone (several crying emojis).”

The account later switched its profile picture to a photo of Diamond and Angie sitting side by side during a past interview.

Before news broke about Angie’s passing, the account hit Facebook to share a message with folks.

“On the road mind racing keep me and my family in your prayers.”

Later, the account thanked everyone for the love while noting needing time to “decompress.”

“Thanks for the outpouring of love today I’m not taking any calls right now I need to decompress.”

Angie leaves behind her daughter, Diamond Stone, from her previous marriage to Rodney Stone, also known as Lil’ Rodney C! The soulful songstress also shares a son with R&B singer D’Angelo, Michael D’Angelo Archer II. On March 1, The Shade Room reported on the heartbreaking news about Angie Stone’s passing. TMZ confirmed the singer-songwriter lost her life in a fatal car crash after leaving a performance in Montgomery, Alabama. She was 63 years old.

Angie’s representative, Deborah R. Champagne, told TMZ she spoke with her the night before and said the tragic news has left her loved ones heartbroken. Fans flooded social media with reactions, reminiscing about her timeless hits like ‘Wish I Didn’t Miss You’ and ‘No More Rain.’

Angie rose to fame after joining the first all-female group, The Sequence. The group was known for its hit single, ‘Funk You Up,’ and released albums between 1979 and 1985.
