Igorrr is now streaming their new, completely insane single “Blastbeat Falafel” from their upcoming record Amen, due out September 19. The single features guest appearances by Trey Spruance (Mr. Bungle) and Timba Harris (Estradasphere, Secret Chiefs 3), because why not? If you’re gonna get insane, you might as well go nuts with it.
“The track is an unnatural and unorthodox connection between metal and traditional oriental music,” said Igorrr multi-instrumentalist and producer Gautier Serre. “A metalhead who truly loves oriental music tried to fit in with the codes of oriental music but didn’t succeed. He tried too hard, lost his identity, and ended up in a psychiatric hospital.”
Igorrr is set to hit the road across Europe this October with Master Boot Record and Imperial Triumphant. Tickets are available here.
