Jeff Bezos isn’t just gaining a wife by marrying Lauren Sánchez — he’s also gaining three stepchildren, Nikko, Evan and Ella.
After Bezos and Sánchez tied the knot in Italy on June 27, the newlyweds officially share one big family, which includes the bride’s three children as well as the groom’s four kids.
Sánchez became a mom for the first time in 2001 when she welcomed her son Nikko with her ex-boyfriend, former NFL player Tony Gonzalez. After the two split, Sánchez married businessman Patrick Whitesell. Sánchez and Whitesell celebrated the arrival of their son, Evan, in 2006 and daughter, Ella, in 2008.
Bezos — who began dating Sánchez in 2019 and proposed to her in 2023 — entered the relationship with four kids of his own. The entrepreneur welcomed three sons and one daughter with ex-wife MacKenzie Scott. Though Bezos keeps his children away from the spotlight, he and Sánchez have said they worked hard to blend their families.
“They’ve been together four years now, so their families are really blended at this point,” an insider told PEOPLE in 2023 after the couple was spotted vacationing with Sánchez’s oldest child, Nikko. “Their families are very close.”

Sánchez’s oldest child, Nikko, was born in February 2001. Though the broadcast journalist split from NFL tight end Gonzalez shortly after, the pair have remained friendly as they raised their son together.
When Nikko isn’t joining Gonzalez on the red carpet for movie premieres, the father-son duo are taking part in daring activities together, like skydiving.
As for Sánchez, she loves to gush about her elder son on social media, like when he walked the runway for Dolce & Gabbana in January 2024 and graduated from college in May 2024.

Evan Whitesell, 19

In August 2005, Sánchez married Hollywood agent Whitesell, and the couple welcomed their first child together, son Evan, almost a year later in June 2006. PEOPLE confirmed at the time that he was born in Santa Monica, Calif., at St. John’s Hospital and weighed just under 7 lbs.
Sánchez and Whitesell finalized their divorce in late 2019, and they reached an agreement that included joint physical custody of Evan and his sister, Ella.
Though Sánchez tries to protect Evans’ privacy, she shares some updates about his life on social media while keeping his face hidden.

Sánchez and Whitesell welcomed their daughter Eleanor Patricia, a.k.a. Ella, in January 2008.
Sánchez shares a passion with her daughter. The former TV presenter revealed that her daughter and sons have taken flight lessons — a hobby the former So You Think You Can Dance host has had for years.
“Life can be so chaotic with so much going on,” Sánchez told The Hollywood Reporter about her love of flight. “Lift off and you’re in an energy space that no one else is in. It’s calming. When I’m up there, I’m completely satisfied. I’m like, ‘This is where I need to be.’ ”
