Apple releases visionOS 2.4 with Apple Intelligence, Spatial Gallery app, and extra


Alongside iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4, Apple is also rolling out visionOS 2.4 for Apple Vision Pro users today. The update brings Apple Intelligence support, a new Spatial Gallery app, and more.

As previously reported, visionOS 2.4 is a big update for Apple Vision Pro. Here’s a rundown of what’s new:

Here’s how Apple describes the new Spatial Gallery app:

visionOS 2.4 introduces Spatial Gallery, a new app that features a selection of spatial photos, spatial videos, and panoramas curated by Apple for Apple Vision Pro. With Spatial Gallery, users will enjoy breathtaking and intimate moments spanning art, culture, entertainment, lifestyle, nature, sports, and travel, with new content released regularly. At launch, users can discover remarkable perspectives from photographers like Jonpaul Douglass and Samba Diop; new stories and experiences from iconic brands including Cirque du Soleil, Red Bull, and Porsche; behind-the-scenes moments from Apple Originals like Disclaimer, Severance, and Shrinking; and special moments from top artists.

visionOS 2.4 marks the official launch of Apple Intelligence for Apple Vision Pro users. This includes features like:

Smart Reply

Natural language search in Photos

Memory Movie creation in Photos

Apple has also streamlined the Guest User feature to make it even easier to share Vision Pro with other people:

visionOS 2.4 lets users start a Guest User session on Apple Vision Pro with their nearby iPhone or iPad. To make it easier to guide a guest through the Vision Pro experience, users can now choose which apps are accessible to their guests and start View Mirroring with AirPlay from their iPhone.

Vision Pro users can update to visionOS 2.4 by going to the Settings app, choosing General, then choosing Software Update.
