BLACK LABEL SOCIETY Lined OZZY OSBOURNE’s “No Extra Tears” Reside For The First Time In 26 Years

Black Label Society officially kicked off its 2026 North American tour on Friday night, March 6 at the Mission Ballroom in Denver, CO, treating fans to a career-spanning set that included a surprise revival of Ozzy Osbourne’s classic “No More Tears.”

The performance marked the first time the song had been played live by Black Label Society since 2001. Fans may recall that a studio recording of the band’s take on “No More Tears” appeared as a bonus track on the 1999 North American edition of Black Label Society’s Sonic Brew album.

Zakk Wylde, who was Osbourne’s guitarist for nearly four decades, has played on every solo album by the metal icon outside 2020’s Ordinary Man. That includes legendary records like No More Tears, Ozzmosis, and Black Rain, cementing Wylde’s status as one of heavy metal’s most formidable guitarists.

Black Label Society will release their new studio album, Engines of Demolition on March 27. Engines of Demolition captures what frontman Zakk Wylde describes as an emotional and creative journey shaped by years of constant motion. Wylde began writing the album in 2022 while on the road with the Pantera Celebration World Tour, continuing work through 2025.

“Engines of Demolition is a sincere ride through the peaks and valleys of the last four years from start to finish,” Wylde says. “Some of the highest highs and lowest lows and everything in between.”

Among the album’s most talked-about moments is :Ozzy’s Song,” which Wylde calls the most personally profound and heartfelt ballad he’s written to date. The track serves as a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, the artist who gave Wylde his first major break and helped shape his legendary career. Pre-orders for Engines of Demolition are available here.

Black Label Society is currently on the road with Zakk Sabbath and Dark Chapel. Get your tickets here.
