Brody Jenner Needs to Have One other Child Lady (Unique)

Brody Jenner is loving being a girl dad.

Speaking exclusively with PEOPLE about Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test season 3, the Hills alum, 41, shares how his life has changed since he and his fiancée Tia Blanco welcomed their daughter Honey in July 2023.

Reflecting on his early years, Jenner notes that his experiences and the lessons learned along the way greatly impacted his role as a father today.

“I’ve learned from the past, but I think that mistakes are necessary,” he tells PEOPLE. “If you just went through life smooth sailing and everything’s perfect, you wouldn’t learn anything. So I’ve learned from all my mistakes and I’ve learned from them and moved forward and learned a better way. (I’m just) teaching Honey all the mistakes that I’ve made and what not to make. But ultimately, she’s going to live her life and I’m just there to facilitate her dreams in any way possible and just there to support her, whatever it is she wants to do.”

He notes that one small dream he has for his little girl is to pick up golf. “I’ve always wanted to be a golfer,” he admits. “We’ll see how that goes. I got her (golf) clubs at two weeks, so hopefully we get her into golf. If not, it’s all good. She can do whatever she wants.”

Meanwhile, he jokes that Blanco has other career aspirations for their little one. “I think Tia wants her to be a pop star,” he says. “She’s already singing at a year. She’s having fun. We are always playing music, and I’m a musician and I produce and do music, so I have her in there DJing with me sometimes. She loves it. She just dances and she’s already very funny and she’s going to do great in life.”

As people in the public eye, Jenner notes that he and Blanco are very conscious about how much they share Honey on social media. Though he notes that right now they’re enjoying sharing their big family moments, he notes they might scale back as she gets older.

“We talk about that all the time,” he says. “Right now she’s still such a baby and young where we’re sharing her all the time on social media. We go back and forth of how we feel about that and how I think that there will be a certain time where we’re like, ‘Okay, we’re going to cut the social media as she gets to be a young adult and let her decide on her own whether she wants to be on that social media.’”

“I think for now, she’s so little and she’s just so cute and we’re so proud,” he continues. “That’s the one thing about it is like, ‘Yes, I know that there’s all types of AIs and you can do this and that, but what are you going to do? Just hide your daughter from the world?’ It’s almost impossible to do that. We travel around, people can get photos of her. It’s hard to just hide your offspring, especially when you’re a Jenner.”

“We’re so proud of her,” he adds of why they can’t help but share her big moments online. “It’s just all the little moments and the first words, and then it’s just like you want to share that with everybody, but at the same time, you’re kind of like, ‘Okay, well, what’s too much?’ We’re navigating that as new parents. It’s just such a fun time at this age. She’s so funny and we’re so in love. She’s the best thing that’s ever happened to both of us, but me especially.”

As Jenner and Blanco plan for their upcoming nuptials later this year, he reveals they are already considering growing their family. In fact, Jenner is keeping his fingers crossed for another girl.

“I mean, I want all girls,” he says. “The boys, it’s a different responsibility, especially for the man. With the girls, the daddy’s girl, all that, it just melts you. I tell Tia all this time, I’m like, ‘I want another girl.’ I understand why Kobe (Bryant) was always saying, ‘I just love being a girl dad,’ it really is the best. But ultimately, boy or girl, all we care about is just a healthy baby.”
