Cam Newton is back with another controversial take on romantic relationships. This time, the retired athlete had the creator of ‘Tonight’s Conversation,’ Ace Metaphor, cuttin’ up with him about cheating. The men got specific with their conversation, highlighting infidelity rates according to careers. Needless to say, their lil’ storytime and bold claims have social media riled up with opinions! What Did Cam Newton & Ace Metaphor Say About Cheating?
Cam and Ace linked up on the latest episode of Newton’s podcast, ‘Funky Friday,’ which dropped on April 25. The ‘Funky Friday’ episode is over two hours long, and the conversation about cheating came up about 39 minutes in. Newton kicked it off by explaining that having sex is not cheating, but “deceit” is.
“Whatever you and your partner understands, that’s not cheating. So too many times people put their trauma bond…whatever he signed up for…she signed up for, it works for them…but sex is not cheating, deceit is cheating.”
At another point in the interview, Cam Newton claimed he “saw a statistic” that names nurses and doctors as “people who cheat on their partners the most.” Ace Metaphor immediately agreed, adding flight attendants to the list. He explained that he was “slanging the whole hospital as a nurse.” Ace then explained that he believes women cheat more than men, but get caught less often. Cam Newton also has some experience with sharing his joystick with other women while in a committed relationship. In November 2024, he opened up on his podcast about cheating while dating Jasmine Brown, the mother of his youngest child, whom he’s been linked to since 2022.
“As long as I’ve been with Jas, Jas has not been the only person that I’ve had sex with,” Cam said at the time on his podcast. While his comments enraged the internet, Jasmin seemed a lil unfazed in her clapback at trolls. “Ain’t no secrets or surprises. He can talk to me about anything,” she wrote on IG Stories in November. She later added that for men, sex is a biological thing needed to think straight.

Lawyer Says THIS About The Career Cheaters Hold
It’s unclear which study or report Cam Newton referenced about cheaters’ careers. However, in early March, The New York Post interviewed a divorce lawyer who spoke on the same topic. Leaning on her 15 years of experience, Kate Simonds told the outlet that public service workers are most likely to cheat in romantic relationships. Police officers, firefighters, and military personnel are at the top of her list. Why? Simonds cited their egos and access to people 24/7. She’s based in Phoenix, Arizona, and pulled her take from her experiences with clients.
“In my opinion, people don’t get divorced because of the cheating, but all the problems around infidelity and the issues it brings,” Kate said.
On the same note, the divorce attorney also highlighted the careers of the most faithful. She named accountants, farmers, and pharmacists for their typical reserved or isolated personalities, workspaces, and hours. “Nobody I know of has ever divorced a farmer, or a pharmacist for that matter,” Kate told NYP.
Ace Metaphor Speaks Out About Kita Rose Dispute
That said, Ace Metaphor and Cam Newton did discuss more than cheating, including Ace’s professional journey from nursing to entertainment. They also chatted about his ongoing drama with former ‘Tonight’s Conversation’ co-host Kita Rose, who has been accusing him of financial abuse and other allegations in social media posts and media interviews. He denies that he owes her money and is confused about what’s causing their beef.
Ace also clarified that having guests pop in and out on the series is not unusual. He claimed that while people are specualting about firings, he’s contracted over 100 people who jump in and out of the tour. Metaphor added that he wants his platform to help others grow theirs. As far as Kita Rose goes, she “wasn’t invited back.”
“When the noise gets so loud, people think that everybody’s quitting…there’s no beef from my side besides it’s just business,” Ace said. “On the terms of the financial abuse, I’ve never stole from here, I don’t owe her money. She was always paid according to her contract. I don’t know what all those other things are, but if there is a grievance, there were proper channels to handle those griveinces sis. I will stand by saying I don’t think the channel that was chosen was professional in nature.”
The founder of ‘Tonight’s Conversation’ confirmed that the series is shooting season six. A tour is also in the works. “…Alot of the people’s favorites are still going to be there,” he said. Metaphor said they’d need mediation, at minimum, before considering whether Kita will be joining again.
