Miami, FL – February 18, 2025 – Will Smith surprises fans at listening party for new single “First Love” hosted by NEON 16 at Groot Hospitality’s Gekko Miami.

GRAMMY Award-winning artist, actor, and entertainer Will Smith surprised couples at an intimate listening party for his new single, “First Love,” featuring Spanish pop singer India Martínez. The event, hosted by Lex Borrero’s NEON16, took place at Gekkō in Miami, the Groot Hospitality hotspot owned by David Grutman and Bad Bunny. Smith was seen mingling with guests, taking photos, and even delivering a heartfelt speech about his upcoming music, sharing that he’s having a “ball” expressing the revelations and introspection he’s experienced over the past few years. The release of “First Love” comes on the heels of Will’s recent collaboration with Big Sean on “Beautiful Scars” Ft. OBanga – listen HERE. The accompanying music video, playing off of the iconic film “The Matrix,” has already garnered over 5 million views on YouTube – watch HERE.

“First Love” will appear on Will Smith’s upcoming album, Based On A True Story, alongside previously released singles “You Can Make It,” “Work of Art,” “TANTRUM,” and “Beautiful Scars.” Earlier this week, it was announced that Will Smith will make the television debut performance of “First Love” with India Martinez & Marcin at the 2025 Premio Lo Nuestro Awards in Miami on February 20th.
