Guy Gansert has found love.
The former Golden Bachelorette contestant, 66, announced that he’s in a new relationship on Tuesday, April 1.

“I HAVE FOUND MY PERSON ❤️,” Guy declared in a caption to a single photo post on Instagram. He tagged her as Johanna Boston in the photo.
His photo showed him smiling next to a woman as they both stood in front of a large red heart sculpture. The dating show runner-up tagged their romantic getaway location as Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort & Spa in Mexico.
Fans reacted to the news in his comment section.
“Congratulations!!! ❤️ was secretly hoping you’d be the next Golden Bachelor – but you found your match! We are all rooting for you!” one person said.
Another added, “Guy, you officially broke the internet with this post. Congrats my dear friend!! I’m hopeful to one day make a similar post. BTW: She’s a Silver Dollar for sure.”

It wasn’t just fans of the show that shared their happiness for the newly announced couple as Bachelor alums also joined the celebration.
“Excited for you two💕,” Susan Noles said. Host Jesse Palmer added, “So happy for you both!!!!”
But perhaps the most eye-catching comment was from Golden Bachelorette Joan Vassos — the former contestant on Gerry Turner’s season of The Golden Bachelor, who went on to be named the inaugural star of the ABC series.
Guy competed on her season where he ultimately came out as a runner up to winner Chock Chapple, who became engaged to Joan.

“I’m so happy for you and I hope she knows how lucky she is. You’re golden my friend!” she wrote on the photo of Guy and his new lady.
The Golden Bachelorette runner-up, who recently retired from working as a real-life emergency room doctor, recently spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about going back into the medical field (and ABC) for a guest starring role on General Hospital.
“Even though I was ecstatic over being a cast member on The Golden Bachelorette, this was an exciting opportunity to actually act and be a part of an iconic show,” Guy told PEOPLE in early March. “This is all happening after deciding to hang up my stethoscope and retire after 35 years.”

He was also optimistic to see what the Mansion Men of The Golden Bachelorette would say about his next move.
“The relationships between the men definitely created bromances,” he said. “Everyone only wants each other to succeed. At our golden years, we only want each other to be happy. They might be surprised that I received such an incredible compliment to be asked to be a one-day cast member of General Hospital, but I believe everyone will be phenomenally supportive.”
New episodes of General Hospital air weekdays on ABC.
