There are £17 million of unused Clubcard vouchers about to expire, and you need to use them up quickly!
Clubcard vouchers issued back in May 2022 need to be used or you will lose them.
You only have until midnight on 31 May 2024 to cash them in.
Millions of Clubcard points expire
Did you know Clubcard points have an expiry date?
Well, it appears millions don’t, and people are going to lose a LOT!
Clubcard points have an expiry date of 2 years from when they’re issued, and that time can fly by quickly.
There are enough Clubcard points due to expire before 31 May to cover millions of pounds of your weekly grocery shop or maybe even a week’s shop for the whole population of Glasgow!
What can you use the points for?

Whether you want to use them on your weekly shop, top up some fuel, or use them for a day out, be sure to cash in before the end of May.
Considering half term is coming up, you could use them for something free to do with the family.
There are enough unused vouchers that could cover the cost of a few million pizzas from Pizza Express.
Or, if you fancy a free day out, there are enough points to cover millions of day tickets to Thorpe Park.
Whatever you do with the points – don’t lose them!
On top of the points expiring, there is also millions of pounds in Reward Partner codes are coming to an end.
So, have you changed up your points in the past and not used the voucher yet?
£16 million in rewards for days out or eating out will simply be lose if you don’t use them!
Sneaky tip to extend them
After checking all the offers and deciding there is nothing you really need, or if you can’t manage to get to the store, there is a small trick you can use to extend the vouchers.
If you make a small purchase of 50p on the Rewards page, the remaining balance of your voucher will be credited back to you.
The newly issued credit will have a new expiry date of two years.
So, say you have a £5 voucher set to expire at the end of the month, spend 50p on an offer and you will get a £4.50 voucher back with a new expiry date.
You can log into your Clubcard account to spend them on what you fancy, download the Clubcard App to track your points, or use them in store to buy your food shop.
Even if you’ve lost your paper vouchers, don’t worry.
The Tesco app is really handy, and it keeps track of all your vouchers.
You can scan any vouchers you’ve collected straight from the app or find the code to spend on their website.
If you choose to redeem with one of the hundreds of Reward Partners, you can up to double their value.
So, £10 of Clubcard points can turn into £20 worth of rewards, depending on what you’re after.
Tesco Chief Commercial Officer, Ashwin Prasad, commented:
“With millions of vouchers expiring at the end of this month, we are urging everyone to make the most of their Clubcard this May and check to see if any vouchers or reward codes are expiring.”

If you regularly shop at Tesco, you’ll save money over a month by signing up to Clubcard Plus.
You need to pay £7.99 a month (hold on though and hear out why you’ll want to), but you’ll save more than that if you do two £40+ shops each month.
It’s really a no-brainer.
For online shoppers, be sure to look into getting a Tesco Delivery Saver as you’ll likely save money too – and if you don’t save, they’ll refund you the difference.
And, remember that two-year expiry on Clubcard points.
There’s millions about to expire before the end of the month, but there will be more every month.
So, keep checking the Tesco App so you don’t lose out.
