INGESTED Introduces Their New Lineup With “Altars Of Flesh” Single

Ingested is now streaming their new standalone single “Altar Of Flesh” which also serves as a way for the band to introduce their entirely new lineup. Ingested in 2025 is original members Lyn Jeffs and Sean Hynes alongside vocalist Josh Davies, guitarist Andrew Virrueta, and bassist Thomas O’Malley.

“To ensure the band reaches even greater heights, we’ve introduced a new team of incredible musicians who share our passion and commitment to making Ingested the most dynamic and powerful force it can be. Introducing the new lineup of Ingested:

“Josh Davies – vocals: Josh, known for his work with Monasteries and Malice, has been part of the Ingested family for the past three years, handling merch on our tours, and working closely with us. He’s a truly ferocious young vocalist whose talent and dedication to his craft will propel the band into exciting new territories. Josh’s tireless work ethic, authentic charisma, and dynamic performances make him the perfect frontman for this new era of Ingested.

“Andrew Virrueta – guitar, backing vocals: Having crushed it live with us for the past eighteen months, Andrew, also of The Faceless and Interloper, has proven to be the missing ingredient in our sound. His technical brilliance, creative input, and infectious energy have brought a new level of depth and versatility to the band. We can’t wait for you to hear what he’s bringing to the table.

“Thomas O’Malley – bass: Thomas has also been filling in for us on tours over the past eighteen months, and his exceptional musicianship has been a revelation. A powerful and precise player, he has elevated the rhythm section to new heights, making him a vital part of the Ingested sound going forward.

“With this new lineup, we are stronger, more focused, and more determined than ever to push Ingested to the next level. This is Ingested 2.0 — a team united by a shared vision to create the most punishing, uncompromising music of our career.

“To mark this monumental moment, we’re also unleashing our new single, ‘Altar Of Flesh.’ This track is a welcome nod to our roots: violent, dynamic, primal, and unapologetically human. It captures the raw, organic energy that defined our early days while showcasing how far we’ve come. Every riff, every guttural, and every beat is a visceral reminder of what Ingested is all about. Prepare yourselves. New lineup. New music. And this is just the beginning.”
