More Details On K.Dot’s ‘GNX’ Album
Kendrick Lamar shocked social media when he dropped his ‘GNX’ album just before Thanksgiving. What really caught everyone’s attention was Kendrick calling out Lil Wayne and then Snoop Dogg for reposting Drake’s ‘Taylor Made Freestyle.’
Kendrick’s mention of Weezy came after Lil Wayne expressed his continued disappointment over K. Dot headlining the 2025 Super Bowl in his hometown of New Orleans. Despite Wayne’s comments about the halftime show, Kendrick kicked off his album with ‘wacced out murals.’ In the song, he addresses Wayne for not celebrating his hard work.
“I used to bump ‘Tha Carter 3’, I held my Rollie chain proud. Irony, I think my hard work let Lil Wayne down.” He continued with “Got the Super Bowl and Nas the only one congratulate me, all these n****s agitated I’m just glad it’s on they faces.”
