Lily Collins’ daughter is already learning about her musical family.
On Tuesday, Feb. 18, the Emily in Paris star, 35, shared a video on her Instagram with her baby daughter Tove, whom she and her husband Charlie McDowell welcomed via surrogate in January. In the sweet video, Collins can be seen wearing a tan sweater over a white collared shirt, playing with her daughter who sits on her lap.
In the background of the video, Genesis’ song “I Can’t Dance” plays as Collins sings along. The star, who is the daughter of lead singer Phil Collins, knew all the words as she danced with her little one.
“Tove beginning her musical education…” she sweetly wrote in the caption.

On Valentine’s Day, Collins shared an adorable family selfie on her Instagram with McDowell and the couple’s newest addition, baby Tove.
In the sweet snap, Tove can be seen nestled between Collins and McDowell, staring up at her dad. The star had her head resting against her daughter’s as she smiled for the photo, capturing their family dog snuggling in.
“I truly can’t imagine feeling more love. Valentine’s Day (and every day) just got a whole lot sweeter…” Collins wrote in her caption.
At the end of January, Collins and her film director husband shared the news on social media that they’d welcomed their first baby together.
“Welcome to the center of our world Tove Jane McDowell,” Collins wrote in a joint Instagram announcement shared with her husband.
The new mom also shared a photo of the baby girl lying bundled in a bassinet. A monogrammed blanket with her name written in gold was draped over the cradle.
“Words will never express our endless gratitude for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way. We love you to the moon and back again,” the caption continued.
