Meghan Markle’s go-to music might surprise you!
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, shared what kind of tunes she likes to listen to in her new series With Love, Meghan, which premiered on Netflix on March 4.

In episode five of the lifestyle show, Meghan popped into a flower shop near her home in Montecito, California and later explained what gets her in the groove while floral arranging.
The Duchess of Sussex called it “calm and meditative” to arrange flowers in an artistic way, and often turns on music for that activity and cooking.
As for what she’s listening to, Meghan said, “A lot of ‘70s soft rock and a lot of yacht rock and a lot of soul. And French dinner party music.”
The Duchess of Sussex walked through an inventive use for flowers elsewhere in the episode and put (edible) “sprinkle flowers” into an ice cube tray to spice up the staple.
“I love taking something simple and elevating it,” Meghan said.
The fifth episode of With Love saw Meghan spend time with her friends Abigail Spencer and Kelly McKee Zajfen, where the Duchess of Sussex taught them how to salt bake a fish. Meghan mentioned that she previously finessed the method when her 5-year-old son Prince Archie caught a trout on a family vacation.

The Duchess of Sussex seemed to be having fun throughout With Love, Meghan on Netflix, her first solo hosting project for the streamer from the multiyear deal she and Prince Harry signed in 2020 for a reported $100 million. Meghan brings audiences into her passions for cooking, crafting, creating and entertaining through the series, for which she served as host and executive producer.
The show was filmed in Montecito, the neighborhood where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex live with their son Prince Archie and 3-year-old daughter Princess Lilibet, and Meghan hosts friends old and new across the eight episodes.

With her new series, Meghan is sharing her personal passions— including cooking, hostessing and decorating — with her biggest audience yet.
She tells PEOPLE exclusively, “When your children get to a certain age — when you’re not just playing in the sandbox with them but almost playing in your own sandbox again — it’s super joyful. As a woman, a mom and a wife, to be able to find yourself again — in a way that was always present but that you maybe couldn’t put as much attention on as you now can when your kids are a little bit older — is a wonderful feeling.”
