Morning Meteorologist Teases New SLEEP TOKEN Replace Due On Monday

Sleep Token aren’t exactly the most straightforward band on the planet – they almost thrive on the collective breath that is held in anticipation of new music from the band as they drop teaser after teaser with no actual announcement.

Capitalizing off of that anticipation, Sleep Token previously enlisted the meteorologist Chris Michaels to help keep the masses on their toes with a cryptic announcement to Michaels‘ Instagram that said, “PREPARE,” alongside the date of March 29th.

Now, on the 29th, Michaels has teased fans even further with another cryptic video announcement that alludes to new music, occasionally interrupted by glitches of TV static that flashed the Sleep Token logo:

“Happy Saturday, I’m meteorologist Chris Michaels with WRAL. By now you know to prepare for any storm that may come through (glitch), but do you know where you really are? Behold, an offering (glitch) to help you get better acclimated with that. Of course, details will emerge (glitch) throughout the week, developing (long glitch), starting Monday.”

The end of the video boasted a black screen with Sleep Token’s logo alongside the word “DEVELOPING.” and a date and time of March 31st at 8 a.m. EDT.

As previously reported, fans are are assuming that because Sleep Token’s 7″ for “Emergence” is due out on the 31st, that it will include a “mystery song” that will be the new single.

With a completely sold out North American tour, the only way you can get your hands on Sleep Token will be by preordering or presaving their upcoming record, Even In Arcadia, due out May 9th, here.
