Nightmarer has parted ways with guitarist Keith Merrow and is back to being a trio of vocalist John Collett, drummer Paul Seidel, and guitarist Simon Hawemann. Nightmarer also revealed they’re working on a new EP called Hell Interface that’s “well under way” and due out sometime this fall.
“Back to our core, 3-piece lineup,” wrote Nightmarer. “We mutually and amicably agreed, that it was time for Keith Merrow to move on and focus on his other endeavors. At this point, we are not looking for a permanent replacement. As a band, we have always embraced a collective approach and, in that spirit, will continue to collaborate with other artists who share our vision – live and in the studio. That also goes for our new EP, which is about 75% written with recordings well under way.”

It’s worth mentioning that Merrow recently joined Vitriol, which I’m sure is consuming a good chunk of his time.
