Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is debuting two exclusive productions aboard its new, stunning ship, Norwegian Aqua, this week with an exclusive media preview cruise out of Lisbon, Portugal. Dance Informa is there to experience the new productions, and all the exciting facilities and services on offer on the Aqua, which will open to the public next month.
Both “Revolution: A Celebration of Prince” and “Elements: The World Expanded” are conceived, directed and choreographed by award-winning Broadway choreographer Patricia Wilcox, a long-time collaborator with NCL.

“Revolution: A Celebration of Prince” is an immersive tribute show honoring the iconic musical artist Prince, featuring his chart-topping hits like “Let’s Go Crazy,” “Little Red Corvette,” “Delirious” and “Purple Rain.”

Developed in partnership with Prince Legacy, LLC, and Primary Wave Music, the hour-long production captures Prince’s energy and musical genius.
Notably, the show employs four performers — both male and female — to represent different facets of Prince’s multifaceted persona, reflecting his duality and broad appeal. Word has it that audience members can choose to join the cast on the dance floor for an interactive experience or watch from traditional theater seating.
“Elements: The World Expanded” builds upon NCL’s highest-rated and beloved show, “Elements,” but this reimagined production offers a more immersive experience. The show spectacular celebrates the four elements — earth, air, water and fire, combining mesmerizing magic, aerial acrobatics, music and dance.
Wilcox’s creative vision brings new surprises and an enhanced spectacle to this already dazzling production.
Both productions were developed by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Shows & Experiences in Tampa, Florida, in collaboration with Wilcox. This partnership ensures original costumes, one-of-a-kind entertainment and a seamless integration of the shows into the unique spaces aboard Norwegian Aqua.
