The OnePlus Ace 3V and the Realme GT Neo6 SE appear quite similar in a side by side specs comparison, but sport different exterior design. However, a detailed teardown of the two handsets reveals they are close siblings.
Both handsets use the same motherboard design as well as a cooling solution. The teardown revealed heat sinks positioned on both sides of the motherboards, the same suppliers for the memory chips (storage and RAM) and the same exact camera sensors on the back. The selfie cameras are what sets them apart.
The secondary board under the battery pack is also quite similar and even the loudspeakers used belong to the same vendor. Speaking of batteries, while both devices offer 5,500 mAh units, the one found inside the OnePlus Ace 3V offers slightly more energy density as it’s a tad thinner. We are talking about negligible differences, though.
The biggest difference comes down to the displays. The Realme uses a curved BOE panel while the OnePlus relies on a flat Tianma screen. The GT Neo6 SE seems to offer higher maximum brightness, though, peaking at around 1,500 nits, while the Ace 3V got a little over 1,100 nits.
