Picking tasks have historically been difficult for robots because of the range of items to be manipulated. In recent years, progress has been made through the application of advanced grippers, machine vision, and motion-planning technology.

In this free webinar at 12:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, experts from ABB Robotics, Ambi Robotics, and Plus One Robotics will explain how artificial intelligence and other advances are enabling new applications and efficiencies.

They will discuss how robotic perception, dexterity, and learning have improved to enable operations from palletizing and case picking to sortation and each picking. The speakers will also examine new AI approaches, challenges such as exception handling, and the journey from robot development to deployment.

In this webinar, you can learn more about:

Current picking challenges facing warehouses and other operations
Gripper and sensor architecture options
Libraries and developer tools around manipulation
Where AI, simulation, and robotics can be applied and improved today

Register now to attend this webinar and ask your questions live! Registrants will be able to view the virtual session on demand after the broadcast.
