Böblingen – August 27, 2020 – espresso, cappuccino or milk coffee, refined with cocoa, caramel or coconut – visitors to the Mercaden Böblingen can be freshly prepared from a robot from Saturday, August 15th. The company Myappcafé, founded in March 2019, already opened its second robot coffee bar in the Mercaden Böblingen. Myappcafé is operated as a franchise system. Friedrich Kunc, owner of the robot barista in the Mercaden Böblingen, is the first franchisee from MyAPPCAFé.
The heart of the innovative coffee bar on the ground floor is a fully automatic barista robot. It can output between 80 and 120 coffee and cocoa drinks per hour on just seven square meters of stand. Only organic fair trade coffee, organic products and biodegradable cups, lids and wooden mixing sticks are used. On the opening day, each customer receives the first coffee free of charge via the app order.
The principle of Myappcafé is simple. Customers put together their favorite coffee at the terminal and pay cashless. The robot immediately goes to work. It is just as easy with the Myappcafé app via smartphone or tablet. Even the milk foam of the drink can be embellished individually – with hearts, smileys or your own selfie.
“With myappcafé, our customers enjoy freshly prepared top coffee in organic quality. At the same time, they experience how digitization progresses and brings advantages. For example, there are no long waiting times,” says Edip Özerol, Center of Mercaden Böblingen.

The start-up Myappcafé was founded in 2019 in Pfinztal near Karlsruhe. The founding team consists of the three friendly families of silence, Yelkenkayalar and Alvarez. The idea was implemented together with the WMF company.
