San José, California, March 18, 2025 / Prnewswire /-Venue, developer of the world’s only full-stack software and hardware automation platform, presents its AI-based bin picking technology for the first time on the NVIDIA GTCthe world’s leading developer conference for artificial intelligence (AI).

This new, AI-controlled procedure replaces complex and costly individual programming solutions and facilitates companies to introduce automation technology. The market launch of AI-based Bin picking technology is planned in the further course of the year.
In a live demonstration, an ABB Gofa ™ CRB 15000 robot-equipped with a vision system, finger grumpers and connected to a Machinemotion AI controller-is demonstrated by its autonomous skills. With the help of a uploaded CAD file of the component to be processed, the robot understands how it can recognize the component, select, grip and organize with industry-leading precision. This autonomous functionality is made possible by powerful AI models.
“AI continues to develop at a rapid pace and helps to make automation even more accessible to companies of all sizes,” explains Etienne Lacroix, founder and CEO from a venue. “Our latest innovation, which combines hardware integration with Nvidia-Ki models, goes beyond pure identification and reaching-it adds intelligence and organization, which reduces expensive integration and programming efforts. The bin picking automation makes it more affordable for manufacturers.”
“Generative AI and simulation technologies have reached a turning point to drive physical AI applications in production,” says Deepu Talla, VP of Robotics at Nvidia. “With the NVIDIA Isaac Robotics platform, VENTION brings the latest AI innovations in factories of all sizes-both for high-mix and high-volume production.”

AI to solve real challenges
The demonstration is part of an ongoing development project with McAlpine & Co. LTD, a long-term venture customer and leading British manufacturer of sanitary products with over 100 years of experience. The company is looking for an automation solution for bin picking and submission.
John Gordon, General Manager of McAlpine & Co. LTD, emphasizes the challenges associated with the automation of the Bin picking process, although at first glance it is a simple task: “McAlpine & Co. LTD was looking for an automation partner, whom we can trust to implement our vision: Innovative solutions that correspond to our high quality standards. The center of this vision is a collaborative work environment in which machines take on labor-intensive and repetitive tasks, so that our employees can concentrate on value-adding activities.
Intelligence – faster added value for manufacturers
The Machinemotion Ai controller from VETION, based on the Nvidia Jetson Orin module-on-compute platformis the backbone of the new development-it enables real-time processing, which is required for autonomous bin picking automation on an industrial scale. This control system goes beyond conventional PLC-based automation and significantly shortens the implementation time.
By integrating the most modern, AI-based NVIDIA Isaac CUDA libraries and models such as Foundationpose ensure the VENTION that manufacturers benefit from the latest AI progress that are now entering the market.
“Our strategy of seamlessly integrating AI technologies into existing automation solutions ensures that we can quickly integrate new models into our turnkey and customizable work cells-and thus provide our customers from the manufacturing industry a competitive advantage.” – François Giguère, Chief Technology Officer at VEVITION.
