Zeds Dead are taking their story on the road for its biggest chapter yet.
After igniting rampant speculation with a cryptic yellow brick road teaser reading “Summer 2026,” the iconic dubstep duo has announced ‘Journey of a Lifetime,’ an expansive North American tour designed to celebrate the full arc of their 15-year career.
It’s the largest tour of Zeds Dead’s career, the duo said in a statement. The run will showcase retrospective performances that trace their evolution from early MySpace uploads and Bassmentality edits to their most recent album, last year’s scintillating Return to the Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness.
“‘Journey of a Lifetime’ is one of the first tracks we uploaded to the World Wide Web as Zeds Dead way back in 2009,” Zeds Dead said. “17 years later, it feels like it was a prophecy. We might have not realized it at the time, but we were in fact blasting off into space and leaving behind life as we knew it.”
Launching this summer, the tour will also showcase the “most ambitious production” Zeds Dead have ever developed, inspired by the television- and space-travel motifs they introduced in RSIH. It will conclude prior to a hiatus next year, the duo revealed.
“We’ve created a world together and the ‘Journey of a Lifetime’ tour aims to be our most thorough exploration of it,” Zeds Dead said. “This will be our biggest tour yet as its taking place in large outdoor venues and we’re going to make it the best show we can make. It will be the grand finale of everything we’ve been working on. It’s not the end though.”
“We’ll be taking some time off in 2027 so were going all out on production, new music and stage design to bring you a new show that will take you on a magical journey. A journey of a lifetime. See you there.”
The tour comprises 15 dates across the US and Canada, including a return to their hometown Toronto as well as two sold-out nights at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre July 2-3. Additional highlights include shows in LA, Vancouver, Nashville, Austin and Miami, among other major cities. Support will come from Daily Bread, Deathpact, Dr. Fresch, IMANU, Ivy Lab, Mary Droppinz, Moody Good, Whethan and EDM.com Class of 2025 star ALLEYCVT.
A pre-salt for ‘Journey of a Lifetime’ begins March 11th before general tickets release the following day. You can find the tour’s full schedule below.
