The Sonoran Desert has never been short on heat, but this October it will be getting a different kind from HEX, a brand-new EDM festival from Relentless Beats.
Billed as a “Bass Music Halloween Experience,” the festival at Rawhide Festival Grounds comes from Aftershock, the bass-focused offshoot of the prolific Arizona promoter and event organizer.
Rawhide, the Western-themed event space on the southern edge of the Phoenix metro, will trade its spurs for subs as HEX spreads across two stages over two consecutive nights on October 30 and 31. The festival brings with it headlining sets from Subtronics and Excision, a pair of dubstep heavyweights capable of rattling the cacti for miles.
They are primed to headline Friday and Saturday of the inaugural HEX, respectively, joined atop the bill by INZO and ATLiens. The undercard features sets from Badklaat, yvm3, Softest Hard, DENNETT and more.
