Tiësto, Chris Lake and Extra Confirmed for 2026 Breakaway Carolina Competition

When Breakaway Carolina returns to the zMAX Dragway at Charlotte Motor Speedway on September 25 and 26, the touring music festival will unveil its most expansive layout yet.

This autumn marks a major operational milestone for the organizers. To accommodate surging regional demand for electronic performances, the festival is increasing its capacity from three active stages to an unprecedented five.

“The support we’ve received from fans since launching in Charlotte in 2017 has been incredible,” said Jarrod Fucci, President of Breakaway. “Each year we’ve looked for ways to build on the experience, and 2026 represents the biggest leap forward we’ve ever taken. We’re excited to deliver our largest Breakaway Carolina to date and welcome fans back for another unforgettable weekend this fall.”

Headlining performances from Chris Lake, Tiësto and KETTAMA top the bill along with a b2b set from Cloonee and Chris Lorenzo. They are supported by a strong undercard featuring San Holo, TroyBoi, What So Not, Cassian and Daily Bread, among others. The lineup also features a handful of EDM.com Class alumni: Nitepunk from this year’s Class, Beltran from last year’s Class, Hamdi from the 2024 Class and Westend from the 2023 Class.

You can check out the full lineup for Breakaway Carolina 2026 below. Presale registration is available beginning today and fans can sign up for exclusive access to purchase tickets on Monday, June 22, one day before they go on sale to the general public.
