Freaky Deaky Competition Returning to Austin With ILLENIUM and a Dystopian Lab Theme

Disco Presents has announced the return of Freaky Deaky to Austin for Halloween weekend 2026, with a sci-fi laboratory theme and a lineup spanning bass, house, techno and UK garage.

Freaky Deaky, which began in Houston in 2018 before expanding to Austin, has grown into one of the country’s more prominent Halloween-themed EDM events. This year’s edition carries the theme “The Revival,” casting the festival grounds as a dystopian laboratory where attendees move through three branded stages: The Reactor, The Circuit and The Lab.

Organizers describe the programming as a “sensory experience” promising evolving visuals and large-scale installations designed to blur the boundary between science fiction and rave culture, a fitting arrangement for a weekend when the dead are said to walk.

The festival will take over the Travis County Exposition Center on October 30th and 31st with a lineup anchored by ILLENIUM, Disco Lines, Boogie T and Crankdat. Additional acts include Liquid Stranger, SLANDER, Odd Mob, Whethan, Mary Droppinz, Hannah Laing, Interplanetary Criminal and EDM.com Class of 2026 duo SIDEPIECE.

Check out the full Freaky Deaky 2026 lineup below. Tickets go on sale April 30th at 10am CDT. Two-day general admission passes start at $169, with payment plan deposits beginning at $30.
