The organizers of Same Same But Different have revealed the first wave of artists for the festival’s 2026 edition, and the boutique SoCal staple is coming back swinging.
Headlining this year’s fest at Lake Perris are Of The Trees, LSDREAM and Tape B, with a special guest appearance from funk-bass legend Gramatik rounding out the top of the bill. Supporting acts fill out the house and bass spectrum across the weekend with Effin, Kasablanca, Trés Mortimer, Klo, Yamagucci, Steller and more joining the action.
The backdrop matters as much as the bill. SSBD recently conducted a public fundraising campaign to raise capital at a $10 million valuation, citing 33% year-over-year growth and over $2.5 million in annual revenue, all without major outside capital or corporate backing.
Over 130 fans have since pledged a combined $750,000 to retain an ownership stake and help the brand make necessary upgrades, including an expansion of its programmatic offerings beyond its flagship festival. With a hard 7,500-attendee cap, it’s one of the last true and independent boutique festival experiences left in a festival landscape that keeps consolidating upward.
SSBD is scheduled to return September 25-27, 2026. Tickets are on sale now.
