The iQOO 15 began its international rollout a few days ago, starting with India, where it is receiving its first software update.
The update carries firmware version PD2505F_EX_A_16.0.18.4.W30 and requires a download of over 750MB. It comes with some system optimizations while also optimizing network and gaming performance.
Additionally, the update bumps up the Android security patch level on the iQOO 15 to November 1, 2025. You can read the full changelog of the update below for more details.

The iQOO 15 will go on open sale in India starting December 1 through iQOO’s official website, Amazon.in, vivo exclusive stores, and other offline retailers. The smartphone will be available in India in Legend and Alpha colors with two memory options – 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB, priced at INR72,999 ($820/€705) and INR79,999 ($895/€770), respectively.

The iQOO 15 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and runs OriginOS 6, making it the first smartphone in India to run OriginOS out of the box. It will get five Android OS upgrades and receive security updates for seven years.

Other key specs of the iQOO 15 include a 6.85″ 144Hz LTPO AMOLED display with Dolby Vision support, three 50MP cameras on the rear, a 32MP selfie camera on the front, and a 7,000 mAh Si/C battery under the hood with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging support. The smartphone is also IP68 and IP69-rated.
