Mr. Fantasy is getting a taste of the wild.
The viral social media personality ventured to Australia this week, making a pit stop at the Australia Zoo in Beerwah to pay a visit to one of the country’s most beloved figures: Robert Irwin.
Mr. Fantasy, who many fans are convinced is actually New Zealand actor KJ Apa in disguise, was as excited as ever to meet up with the wildlife conservationist in Irwin’s native Australia.
“I absolutely love your country,” Mr. Fantasy, dressed in a red and black geometric top and khaki pants that he paired with a Mickey Mouse belt for the occasion, told Irwin as he ran to embrace him in a hug.
In true Irwin fashion, the pair spent the majority of their video collab getting to know a Burmese python.
“Do you like snakes?” Irwin asked the TikToker.
“I absolutely love snakes,” Mr. Fantasy replied.

Despite his initial confidence, Mr. Fantasy appeared slightly nervous when Irwin revealed the large snake in a box to him. The two rested the snake, which took the help of Irwin and two other zoo handlers to be lifted, on their shoulders. However, when the snake turned to face Mr. Fantasy, it was clear the reptile was a little too close for comfort.
“What do I do? Robert? What do I do? What do I do? What do I do?” Mr. Fantasy repeatedly asked.
After the pair set the large snake down — at the viral creator’s request — he got on the floor with the animal and, in true Fantasy fashion, gave him a large sniff.
Sniffing has become a common greeting for the TikToker, who recently told Taylor and Tay Lautner on the Jan. 7 episode of their podcast, The Squeezethat he finds sniffing to be a “curious action.”
“It comes from love. It’s curious. You want to know more. I’m always sniffing things, trying to get to know the insides of something,” he told the couple.
As he inspected the animal on the ground, Mr. Fantasy also unearthed a decidedly less-pleasant discovery. The social media star picked up what appeared to be kangaroo feces on the grass and gave it a lick, much to Irwin’s surprise.

“I think the poo licking may have caught Robert off guard 😜,” Mr. Fantasy replied to a commenter who left a screenshot of Irwin’s surprised face in the comment section.
Toward the end of his video, Mr. Fantasy presented Irwin with some gifts to mark his visit, including a picture of two kangaroos, which he told Irwin “could be you and me.”
“Although I do think it’s a mother and a child,” he told Irwin excitedly. “But you’re my mother!”
Mr. Fantasy also gifted Irwin a flask, which he told Irwin he could take with him on his “adventures,” and a figurine of a Rottweiler. He also gave him a necklace with a pendant in the shape of Australia; however, Irwin was quick to point out that the pendant was actually in the shape of Africa.
“They look awfully similar, don’t they?” Mr. Fantasy said.
During his recent appearance on The Squeeze podcast, Mr. Fantasy gushed about meeting Irwin for the first time, calling him a “pure soul.”
“Pure soul. Do you know what I mean? Monkey monkey monkey animal,” he explained to Taylor and Tay. “You you you sense the purity in someone like that. And I’m drawn to people like that.”
The couple also made sure to ask Mr. Fantasy if he had been able to smell Irwin, the first time they met; however, Mr.Fantasy admitted it had been tough for him to get an “isolated sniff,” but he would be sure to try.
While it didn’t seem like Mr. Fantasy was able to get a good isolated sniff, he did uncover that the snake that the pair were handling had “no smell whatsoever.”
