The 9,000mAh battery, flagship silicon, and 200MP telephoto camera are all upgrades that sound like things users would actually notice in their daily use, but they pale in comparison when the phone is unlikely to reach many of the people who want to buy it. OnePlus can’t keep making compelling hardware and slowly shrinking its global footprint if it wants to compete with the biggest Android brands.
