Konstanz, April 10, 2026 – fruitcore robotics is launching two new 6-axis industrial robots with the HORST600 G2 and HORST800 G2. The second generation of the HORST platform delivers up to 40 percent shorter cycle times, a doubling of the load capacity and significantly more work space. “With HORST600 G2 and HORST800 G2, we are making industrial robotics even more versatile, more powerful and more reliable. Through standardization, simplicity and the use of AI, we are also able to offer robot solutions with a unique price-performance ratio,” says Jens Riegger, CEO of fruitcore robotics.
Industrial companies are under pressure: the shortage of skilled workers is getting worse, and the demands on productivity and flexibility are increasing. Automation is an operational necessity, but implementation still fails due to complexity and costs. This is exactly where the G2 generation comes in: more flexible integration, more performance, attractive price.
Unique lifetime costs thanks to technological advances
In addition to the acquisition costs, it is the often unforeseeable, high lifetime costs that make robot automation uninteresting.
The new G2 robots are based on a revised mechanical platform with an integral design without sheet metal covers. This has improved repair and maintenance by making maintenance-relevant components easily accessible and easy to replace. The output-side encoder technology patented by fruitcore ensures that the robots remain precise throughout their service life without re-teaching. This is reinforced by new drivers, revised bearings and new precision gears with up to 400 percent less play.
With the launch of the two new models, the entire portfolio from HORST600 G2 to HORST1500 G2 is now designed for a service life of ten years in three-shift operation. The basis for this is the fundamentally different drive train of the HORST robots, which lasts up to four times longer than comparable products. More than a thousand robots in industrial use and almost a decade of continuous development enable fruitcore to pass on this technological advantage to its customers in the form of a 6-year guarantee on the drive train. This leads to attractive lifetime costs and a high level of investment security.

“The G2 generation is a technological leap, not just an update. We have completely revised the mechanics, drives, bearings and gearboxes. The result
are robots that meet the highest standards in terms of stiffness and dynamics,” says Patrick Heimburger, Managing Director of fruitcore robotics.
Applications and technical features
Whether machine assembly, quality inspection or pick & place: HORST600 G2 covers a wide range of applications with a reach of 610 mm, a load capacity of 7 kg and repeatability of ±0.05 mm. HORST800 G2 goes one step further: 840 mm reach and 6 kg load capacity open up applications where previous models reached their limits, for example when reaching deep into machines in the smallest of spaces. Both models can be mounted on the floor, ceiling or at an angle; Wall mounting is also possible with the HORST600 G2. Thanks to a larger working area with smaller robot dimensions and the standard certification according to clean room class ISO 6 (ISO 5 possible on a project-specific basis), both robots offer even more flexible application options. Even demanding requirements in sensitive or harsh environments are met by protection class IP65 on axes 5 and 6 and IP54 on the other axes. The new robots from fruitcore robotics can also be used quickly and flexibly thanks to the horstOS operating software with integrated AI functions such as voice control.
Availability and webinar: HORST600 G2 and HORST800 G2 are now available to selected customers and will be delivered in series from Q4 2026. On April 28, 2026 (11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.), fruitcore robotics will present both models in detail in a webinar. Registration via www.fruitcore-robotics.com.
