Robots Weblog | Vention and Common Robots: One-stop store for packaging automation offered at interpack 2026

Düsseldorf, Germany, May 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Vention, developer of the world’s only full-stack automation platform with an integrated hardware ecosystem, today announced the European debut of its third-generation Rapid Series Palletizer (RSP) at Interpack 2026. At the same time, the modular funding ecosystem is being expanded, underscoring the continued growth of end-of-line packaging automation in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

After entering the North American market earlier this year, the Rapid Series Palletizer is now available to EMEA manufacturers as part of Vention’s platform-based approach to end-of-line automation. This enables the implementation of complete systems, from case packing and conveyor technology to palletizing, via a single, unified environment.

“Manufacturers are under increasing pressure to quickly modernize their packaging processes while remaining flexible,” says Andrea Alboni, general manager for the EMEA region. “Our platform simplifies automation by allowing customers to design, implement and operate complete end-of-line systems without the integration burden of traditional approaches, achieving time-to-value as short as 1.3 years and up to 25% lower capital expenditure compared to traditional automation solutions.”

At Interpack 2026, Vention will be exhibiting together with Universal Robots and will show how collaborative robots and modular automation systems enable flexible packaging automation. The booth will feature a robotic case packing cell with a UR10e, Vention’s modular conveying ecosystem for product transfer and buffering, and a palletizing system with a UR20, illustrating a complete workflow from case packing to palletizing.

Fast commissioning and complete packaging automation

Thanks to Vention’s modular hardware ecosystem and MachineMotion AI, the third generation Rapid Series Palletizer can be up and running in just 4 weeks. Complete end-of-line packaging systems, including conveyor technology, case packing and palletizing, can be delivered within 12 weeks. This equates to 3x to 5x faster implementation compared to traditional automation solutions and enables manufacturers to achieve up to 5x return on investment over the typical system lifecycle.

The integrated conveying ecosystem includes modular O-ring and poly-V conveyors, Vention-developed motors, and plug-and-play controllers based on MachineMotion AI. Programmed via MachineLogic and the Conveyor App, the system enables synchronized product flow, pressureless buffering and fast line reconfiguration, with reduced integration complexity thanks to integrated motor connection and EtherCAT communication.

The solution is particularly relevant for manufacturers in high-mix, high-variability environments where flexibility and speed are critical to competitiveness and automation can replace up to 10 full-time workers per shift, addressing ongoing skills shortages.

Designed for easy operation across the entire line

Vention’s software-oriented platform spans the entire end-of-line workflow, from conveyor technology to palletizing, via a unified touchscreen interface and code-free operator guidance. Operators can configure conveyor zones, control product flow, create palletizing patterns, and respond to changing production demands without PLC programming or specialized training.

By leveraging the same platform and touchscreen interface for cobot and industrial palletizers and upstream end-of-line equipment, Vention reduces operator training requirements, simplifies multi-line and multi-site operation, and enables manufacturers to scale their automation without custom integration or redesign, with a startup time to full production in just 1 to 3 days.

Productivity through connected machines

Unlike traditional palletizers, the Rapid Series Palletizer is connected from the ground up, with built-in LTE connectivity via MachineMotion AI. The solution includes Remote Support with access to Vention automation experts within 10 minutes, as well as RemoteView and MachineAnalytics for real-time performance insights to maximize uptime and speed problem resolution. This allows manufacturers to reduce downtime and resolve problems faster with instant remote diagnostics.

Vention’s end-of-line packaging solutions, realized with collaborative robot technology from Universal Robots, will be presented live at Interpack 2026, taking place from May 7th to 13th at Messe Düsseldorf, Hall 6, Stand 6A58.
