MONTREAL, Feb. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Vention, the company behind the AI-powered software and hardware platform for automation and robotics, today announced the launch of GRIIP (Generalized Robotic Industrial Intelligence Pipeline). It is an end-to-end physical AI pipeline that enables the deployment of autonomous robotic cells in highly unstructured manufacturing environments. GRIIP marks a fundamental shift from task-specific robotics to generalized intelligence that is scalable across applications.
The GRIIP pipeline: end-to-end intelligence
GRIIP delivers a unified perception-to-motion pipeline by integrating Vention’s proprietary models with open NVIDIA Isaac models – specifically NVIDIA FoundationStereo for stereo matching and NVIDIA FoundationPose for pose awareness. The pipeline automatically handles scene digitization and calibration, object detection and segmentation, 6DOF pose estimation, grip point evaluation, and collision-free path planning, adapting to real-world conditions without manual configuration.

The architecture continually evolves by leveraging the latest physical AI models, improving performance over time without hardware upgrades or manual intervention. Software updates are carried out via MachineMotion AI, either via WLAN or integrated LTE connectivity.
Production-ready performance and proven reliability
GRIIP delivers industrial-grade results with validated performance:
Consistently reliable picking performance in 24/7 operation over three months. Cycle times of up to five parts per minute are maintained without any loss of performance. Sub-millimeter accuracy in pose estimation. CAD-to-Pick setup in 15 minutes, full implementation in under two days. Adaptive performance across different part geometries and material properties, including surface finish, transparency and environmental variations. Unlike previous generations of physical AI models, GRIIP maintains peak performance throughout operation. The AI pipeline works out of the box without training data or custom datasets, allowing manufacturers to directly implement new robot cells and add new parts without programming.
Scale automation beyond individual tasks
GRIIP uses the same technology for multiple tasks and use cases within a factory, including bin picking, machine tending, conveyor pick and place, kitting, palletizing and grinding. GRIIP runs on Vention’s MachineMotion AI controller (powered by NVIDIA Jetson) and can transform existing, traditionally programmed robotics applications into autonomous processes. This enables faster project delivery, higher ROI and a clear upgrade path for automation infrastructure.
Availability and company use
Vention is currently scaling its customer demonstration program and working with enterprise customers who are evaluating the technology for deployment in 2026. For technical information or to schedule a demonstration, visit https://vention.io/de/physical-ai-pipeline.
