How Bonnaroo Reaffirmed the Farm’s Unmatched Neighborhood, Connection and Magic in 2026

True to form, Bonnaroo fired on all cylinders in 2026.

The beloved Tennessee festival paired world-class production and stunning stage design with the infectious crowd energy that makes the Farm unlike anywhere else. The result was one of the most electrifying festival experiences of the year so far.

Thursday set the tone for the weekend, with Four Tet effortlessly weaving thumping four-on-the-floor beats into heavier bass drops without breaking momentum. Skrillex then delivered one of the most production-heavy sets of the weekend, complete with towering fire effects, eye-popping laser displays and a setlist that balanced legacy and new tracks with remixed fan favorites.

The buzz around a surprise second Skrillex set spread around the Farm like wildfire, and when he surfaced at the Other stage alongside ISOKNOCK (ISOxo and Knock2), it sent the crowd into complete overdrive.

Friday escalated the magical energy even more, with GRiZ delivering one of the most emotionally resonant sets of the day. His signature blend of bass and funk with live saxophone was nothing short of mesmerizing. His closing track hit the hardest, bringing out Ela Melo of Rainbow Kitten Surprise for a live performance of ‘It’s Called: Freefall,’ which shifted the set into a full emotional peak.

The night continued strong with standout sets from EDM.com Class of 2026 duo SIDEPIECE, Cloonee, Ganja White Night and a stunning sunrise reset from INZO.

Saturday was perhaps the most stacked day of the weekend. Sub Focus opened the night with high-impact drum & bass and jaw-dropping production on the Other stage. Techno superstar Sara Landry, a member of the EDM.com Class of 2025, followed with a relentless set to keep the crowd locked in, sprinkling in a few Blood Oath-inspired dubstep drops.

Rain rolled in mid-evening, adding glimmering textures to the lighting design as lasers cut through the mist and amplified the atmosphere. From there, RÜFÜS DU SOL delivered a beautiful, melodic set pairing vocal-driven moments with expansive visual production.

The momentum carried straight into late night as the storied electronic music duo Chase & Status pushed the energy with their frenetic drum & bass. Gorgon City’s extended sunrise set became one of the defining moments of the weekend, with the Other stage’s goosebump-inducing visuals stretching into early daylight.

Effin followed in the early hours with a carefully curated 5:45-6:30am set that balanced shimmering electro-soul with bursts of trap and dubstep energy, providing the perfect transition into Sunday morning.

Sunday brought tougher conditions as heavy rains delayed sets and muddied the grounds. Even so, the crowd stayed energized through closing performances from Daily Bread, Big Gigantic and LSZEE, which carried the weekend to a strong finish.

Overall, Bonnaroo 2026 stood out for its production scale, consistent crowd energy and the flow of the sets across genres. The combination of lighting design, sound quality and community atmosphere kept the weekend cohesive, even through the weather shifts. The weekend reinforced why Bonnaroo continues to be one of the most memorable large-scale festival experiences.
